Mathematics

Mathematics is the study of the treatment of magnitude, relationships between figures and forms, and relations between quantities expressed symbolically. Northern Light College offers the course: Principles of Mathematics for Teachers.

Information literacy is a set of abilities requiring individuals to "recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information."
